A mix of pharma, polymers and fuel cells:

R&D chemist (£25-35k) for a fine chemicals manufacturer in Dorset. Support R&D projects to develop processes for GMP/non-GMP manufacture to 20L scale. BSc with process chemistry knowledge and manufacturing experience required, Masters/PhD desirable.

Scientist - API Development for a pharmaceutical CRO/CMO in Abingdon. Joining a team of 25 chemists, develop processes for custom synthesis, undertake cGMP lab prep and support transfer to pilot plant. Custom synthesis, small scale lab production and knowledge of API process development and transfer essential. Also available is a lab-based senior scientist project and team manager role – direct experience essential, including GMP; PhD preferred.

Senior chemist for a polymer manufacturer in London. Physical testing of polymer coatings and materials, troubleshooting, continuous improvement and support of QC function. Experience in chemical/polymer manufacture with working knowledge of ISO; relevant industry experience advantageous.

Development and technical support chemist for a company in the polymer additives sector in the North West. Design and deliver new products, including development and commercialisation. MSc, pref PhD; experience in polymer/materials science industry; 2^nd European language useful.

Organic chemist for ACAL Energy in Cheshire. Synthesis of next generation catalyst and mediator materials for fuel cell systems. Identify targets, design synthetic routes and help file patents. PhD with industrial experience in target selection/route design and good publication record required.

R&D scientist for a pharmaceutical company in Hull. Working in the analytical, formulation or chemistry function to support existing and new product development. BSc, experience of HPLC, and preferably experience of FDA/MHRA/cGMP regulations.

Development chemist (£35-40k) for a pharmaceutical company in County Antrim (N Ireland). Analytical method development and validation, and transfer of these between 3 sites. Responsible for a team of analysts, and perform analytical duties including material and stability testing. BSc required.
