the 3-day week, but here is a smattering of positions for newly-qualified
grads/postgrads.
Specialist scientific recruiter SCI are
offering the role of apprentice
scientific recruitment consultant (£18-20k, OTE £40k), based in Cheshire.
Working with both clients and candidates to fill temporary and permanent
positions, the applicant must have excellent inter-personal skills, a relevant
scientific degree and a desire to develop a career in sales and marketing.
Lab Support are looking for a recruitment
consultant to join them in Cambridge, covering the South East. A scientific
degree and excellent communication skills are required. Previous relevant
experience is desirable but not essential.
A company in North Yorkshire is recruiting
a graduate
regulatory officer, initially on a 12-month contract. Supporting the
Regulatory Affairs team, tasks will include reviewing/interpreting legislation,
writing safety data sheets and monitoring global regulations. BSc/MSc or PhD,
with a demonstrated interest in regulatory affairs required.
An industrial mortar manufacturer in
Bedfordshire seeks a graduate
development chemist to carry out new product development and existing
product improvement. Degree (inc 2012 graduates) with knowledge of formulation
methodology required. Industrial experience (eg, placement) desirable but not
essential.
Oxfordshire-based, petroleum additive
manufacturer, Infineum is looking for a PhD or
postdoctoral scientist to “present innovative and informed insights into
complex business challenges.” The role includes project management and
supervision of technicians.
BP is recruiting a post-doctoral
research associate on a 2-year fixed term contract. Year 1 will be spent at
the University of Strathclyde, developing ultrasonic technologies to measure
process streams. Year 2 may be spent at one of BP’s main research centres in
California, Illinois or Hull (keep those fingers crossed...)
